Vanessa Hudgens new movie

High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens will star in a feature film entitled Will. The movie is about a high school "Battle of the Bands" so I guess Vanessa isn't out of the high school and musical scene just yet!

She'll be playing a character called Sam and according to JustJared,

"Sam is 15 years old, dressed down in black jeans and t-shirt, with hair strategically hiding her face from the world, she is a loner, one of the school’s outsiders, constantly seen with a book in hand. Smart, with a sense of humor and a lot of disdain for her shallow peers, Sam is a former stutterer and now speaks slowly and deliberately. She teams up with Will on a class project, and the two quickly discover they have a lot in common. Their friendship eventually takes the shape of a burgeoning romance. Brought on board as the lead singer for the band Will is managing, Sam emerges from her cocoon, demonstrating grit and commitment to perfection."

Vanessa isn't really one of my favorite actresses but I'm quite fond of these teen movies (I don't "like" them, they're just amusing) so I might watch this when they air it on HBO or Star Movies or something.

It's been quite some time since Vanessa Hudgens was last mentioned here. So let us all remember her in this post!

Zanessa is officially over -- NOT

Apparently, High School Musical's on and off-screen sweethearts, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron have finally called it quits.

An article from OK! stated that it was Vanessa who ended the relationship, hours before Zac's 20th birthday. Vanessa's reps have denied the breakup, but Zac's side has remained silent...

A lot of people claim to have "seen this coming" after the scandal Vanessa caused for herself and that brief breakup that followed. (I think Zac hooked up with Nikki Blonsky [lol] at that time.)

Well... They were seen together celebrating Zac's birthday, so this "news" is most probably false. Wow... Rejoice. Rejoice.

When Good Girls Go Wild

What the hell was Vanessa Hudgens thinking when she took these subjective pictures (not to mention one where she went all-out in the nude business)? Hmm..maybe the rumors about Zac dumping her for his Hairspray co-star were true? So she took these set of provocative pictures to keep him interested in her? Well, I don't really know when these pictures were taken so all I can do is speculate.

So much for a "wholesome" image, Vanessa. You just ruined everything that Disney put so much effort in building - your career.

I haven't heard or read anything about Zac's reaction to the whole thing yet. I wonder how he's taking all these. Then I also wonder who leaked these photos into the internet. Must've gotten paid a lot for these...

Anyway, Vanessa issued an apology to her fans and thanking her for their continued support despite this "ordeal". Disney also denied the news floating around that they will replace Vanessa in High School Musical 3 with one of the Cheetah Girls. They said that Vanessa has suffered enough with her lapse in judgment and that she has learned her lesson. (Well, I hope she did.)
