Celebrity Spotlight: The SuperNova

Meet Natalia Vodianova, otherwise known as The SuperNova. She's one of the hottest supermodels around, despite being married and having given birth to two children.

Natalia was born in Russia and had a difficult childhood because of poverty and her mother's different abusive boyfriends. When she moved out of their house, she started her own fruit-stall business and helped her siblings get through life. She started going to casting calls when she was 15, hoping to get a more decent job than her fruit-stall business. At age 17, Natalia was discovered and signed up by Viva Agency as one of their models. This was after she was told to study English to improve her chances of being a model.

Now at age 25, Natalia Vodianova has been endorsing many high-end, designer labels, has been featured in one of the biggest-selling magazines, has been in many runway shows and has been cast in a movie. To date, she has already done campaigns for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Pepe Jeans, Miss Sixty and Gucci. She was shown in the front cover of American Vogue, at a time when celebrity covers were hot. Natalia has also done 40 runway shows and was cast in Roman Coppola's movie, CQ, opposite Billy Zane.

Natalia Vodianova is currently the 7th highest earning model, averaging at $4.5M a year.
